Changing Technologies. The Council's Report analyzes reliability aspects of new technologies being used in telecommunications networks. These include the provision of services over new network technologies (such as SONET, ATM, Hybrid Fiber/Coax, new satellite networks, Personal Communications Service and Advanced Intelligent Networks).
